Great Childhood Winter Memories in Iowa

I ran across this old photo of my sister Lois and I skating with my cousins from Indiana on our farm creek. I remember having so much fun even, though the creek isn't very big. I'm the one in the red coat.
What fun we use to have going Bobsledding with our neighbors. Our neighbor would pull us all over the country roads in southwest Iowa. In the sled is my Mom, Grandmother, sister, neighbors wife and daughter. My grandfather and and the owner are outside the sled. Of course I'm the curious one leaning over the side to see the runners. I love to remember those carefree days of growing up on a farm in Iowa.
