Well, it's been a pleasant day here at the Rug Cottage
Viki from http://humble-heart.blogspot.com/ stopped out see us and add some new treasures to her booth. However, she brought along one precious treasure that was not for sale...her darling grandson Owen.
Elaine from http://catspawprimitives.blogspot.com/ also stopped out to remove the Christmas from her booth. She scored a neat old dough bowl! We enjoyed chatting with her and her two daughters about their Christmas.

ReplyDeleteVikki,
ReplyDeleteYou are such a dear! Thanks for your heartfelt comment. It is much appreciated. We loved having you and Owen out to the store. Come any time! If only a nice young man my age were smitten with me that way (ha ha ha) Have a blessed January! <3 Jessica <3
Thanks for the comment Nancy..Glad to get to know you a little better..My mom (deceased) always made these. Her grandmother was from Norway & loved the Norway/Sweden/Denmark recipes as well as the countries. Now my children love them to because of things like this recipe. We too love them with confection sugar/homemades jams..(I make about 200-300 jams per yr..different blends)
ReplyDeleteHave a Happy New year & stop by often..
I love your store..It's great!!
